This small group of Babylon Chorale Inc. members presents a wide variety of music for special occasions. The Ensemble sings at weddings and other social gatherings, civic and business functions, adult homes and libraries. The troupe’s repertoire includes Broadway and popular tunes, jazz, sacred, and seasonal music.
The Ensemble is available for fund-raising performances for churches and other organizations. For information call the director, Kathleen Jahosky, at (631) 587-3620.
The Ensemble will be at the Guild Conference Room of Good Samaritan Hospital, Montauk Highway, West Islip, on Sunday, September 23, 2007 at 2 PM with a program entitled "Favorites of Yesterday and Today", which will include jazz and pop standards and a medley from "Les Miserables".
A program of seasonal music entitled "Happy Holidays" will be performed at the West Islip Public Library, 3 Higbie Lane, West Islip on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at 2 PM.
The program "Music of Ireland, Scotland and Wales" will bepresented at the Babylon Public Library in the spring of 2008. Additional information about this concert will be posted on the web site at a later date.
